Just do the songs you like. Karaoke has never been about excellent singers and 95% of karaoke singers can barely carry a tune. So have fun with it and don’t worry about being excellent.
First of all, I like to compliment you for your honesty about your singing abilities. I’d say stay away from Mariah Carey and Bette Midlers songs. Pleased songs like “Build me up Buttercup” or “Sweet Caroline” makes everyone sing along so that nobody really notices if your whacking sour notes. I hope this helps.

oh! i know, sing that song the asian guy on american idol sang and backed a million bucks, i forgot what his name was…but yeah i reckon its called she bangs? haha thats an incredible song no matter whose singing it.
